So I need to get something off my chest and I'd love to get some other opinions. I feel like I'm constantly in this journey of recovery and failure. Life definitely moves in cycles, but I'm stuck with truly understanding if there is such thing as self-healing after trauma. Are we capable as survivors/victims/conquerers of our traumatic experiences to heal completely? or will these learnt traits as surviving mechanisms always be with us, haunting us as we encounter new experiences and situations?
